Oatmeal Scotchies

cups all-purpose flour ¾
cup sugar

tsp. baking soda
¾ cup packed brown sugar
½
tsp. salt
2 large eggs
½
tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1
cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 3
cups quick oats
1
pkg. Butter scotch morsels
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F
In a
small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and
cinnamon
In
large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar,
brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract
Beat
in flour mixture gradually
Stir
in oats and morsels
Drop
onto ungreased baking sheets by rounded tablespoon
Bake
for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10
minutes for crispy cookies. Cool on bake sheets for
2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely
Makes about 4 dozen cookies
