Lincoln Funeral Train

October 3, 2015

Join us a for a wonderful experience as we tour the Sugarcreek area of Ohio, We will begin our day with the bus departing from the Carnegie United Methodist church parking lot 415 Washington Ave, Carnegie, Pa 15106.  This is a one day tour includes: Transportation, a tour of Warther Museum home of the world famous woodcarving of steam engines by Ernest Mooney Warther , carving of ivory, ebony, and walnut, Mrs. Warther’s 73,000 button collection, and Swiss-style gardens. View the full size replica of the Lincoln Funeral train. (Lincoln Funeral Train is tour the U.S. and will be at “Warther Museum” only this week end) Buffet lunch at Dutch Valley Restaurant and after lunch it on to the “Age of Steam Roundhouse”. America’s newest, full sized historic 1920’s-1940’s railroad roundhouse with real train’s and gift shop. Broad Run Cheese house & Swiss Heritage Winery The marriage of wine and cheese, both made with pride! Sample 30 cheese varieties and pair with your favorite wine. Experience the area’s most exquisite curtain, lace, and Victorian shop.  (Will have cooler on bus for cheese) taxes, meal and guide gratuity.
