1 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 and 1/3 cup sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 lg eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
(I sometimes use half semi-sweet and half dark chips)
2 cups chopped pecans
Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt and add to butter
mixture.
Add chips and nuts. Stir.
(Can refrigerate dough for an hour at this point)
Use parchment paper or Silpat on cookie
sheets.
Roll dough into balls and place on cookie
sheets.
Bake at 350 for approximately 10-12 minutes or until light
brown.
Cool on cookie sheets 2 minutes then
remove to cooling rack.
